What You Need to Know Before Submitting Your Artwork
Preferred File Format
PDF - this is our preferred format for most printed products.Tip: Save your PDF in high-resolution, all fonts embedded or vectorised.
Artwork Settings - Checklist
Use this simple checklist to make sure your artwork meets our technical requirements and prints perfectly the first time.
1. Colour Model
Artwork saved in CMYK colour mode
Check that no RGB or web colours remain in your final file
If white ink is required, clearly mark the areas or supply it on a separate layer
2. Bleed & Safe Area
Add 5 mm bleed on all sides of your artwork
Extend backgrounds and images fully into the bleed, keeping important text and logos inside the safe area
Ensure no crop marks, keylines, or trim lines are included in the final file
3. Image Quality & Size
Set your artwork to the exact dimensions of the product ordered (e.g. A4 size in the correct orientation)
Ensure all images and artwork are supplied at 300 DPI
Check files at full size to avoid blurring or pixelation
4. Final File Check
Supply artwork as a high-resolution PDF (preferred) in one single layer
Ensure your file is print-ready to avoid additional artwork charges*
Name your file clearly with the product type and dimensions
