Large Format UV Printing LP

What is UV printing?

Here at VKF Renzel, one of our specialities is the ability to provide UV printing services for a wide selection of businesses looking for crystal-clear images on large format materials, including ACM, vinyl, PVC, acrylic, wood, glass and more. UV printing, known as Ultraviolet Printing, is a digital printing technology that uses ultraviolet light to dry, or cure, ink as it is printed onto a desired material. The ink that is used is susceptible to UV light which will dry extremely quickly when exposed to the UV light, making UV printing different from traditional printing methods that use heat or solvent-based inks, which take longer to dry.

We use UV printing machines to successfully produce vibrantly printed products showcasing your unique designs on a myriad of materials, which offers many benefits compared to other printing methods. With our fast UV printing speeds, you won’t have to wait long before your high-quality UV-printed product is ready to be put on display, in addition to them being environmentally friendly, too. Our large format materials, are ideal for various industries to use for advertising, to draw people’s attention or you can use our service for packaging, signage and industrial printing.

Large Format UV Printing with VKF Renzel

With the use of our UV printer, we are able to offer full colour printing on a wide range of products and materials. These materials include, but are not limited to ACM, vinyl, PVC, acrylic, wood, glass and aluminium. UV printing is ideal for products used indoors or outdoors; once the UV is cured, it is less susceptible to bleaching from the sunlight and will not smudge from the rain and other external influences.

Our machine is able to print artwork up to the size of 3m x 2m for both rigid and flexible materials. For continuous rolls of flexible materials, we can also print up to a height of 2m (to the length that you require).

Image Size & DPI

Please ensure that your images are provided at the correct size, and when necessary, the same size of the item you’ve purchased i.e., if purchasing a product in A4 format, please provide your artwork sized to A4, in the correct orientation.

To avoid blurring and pixelation, ensure that your artwork is provided to the correct dimension and also at the correct DPI (dots per inch). For all artwork, this should be provided at 300 DPI.

Colour Model

To ensure that your artwork prints correctly, please ensure that it is saved in a CMYK format.

We are also able to print with white ink, if this is something you require.

Bleed Lines

You should include a 5mm bleed in your file. Ensure that your image covers the bleed area, but that no important information is outside the work area (in the bleed), as this could be cut off and impact your graphics once printed. There should be no overlapping or presence of key lines or trim lines on your file.

Acceptable File Formats

PDF is the preferred format for artwork; however, we can accept artwork in all of the following formats:
  • PDF
  • AI
  • PSD
  • PNG
  • JPG
  • JPEG
  • TIFF
  • EPS
The file should be reduced to one single layer.
Please note, for printing images with a transparent background or transparent elements, we only accept PDF, AI and PNG files.

If possible, ensure your file is sent to us print ready. We charge £25 per each half an hour in the event that we need to adjust your graphic to ensure it is suitable for print - most adjustments can be done within this 30 minute timeframe. The file name should include the product and product dimensions.
We print the vast majority of our items in our UK factory in Worcestershire and will always endeavour to get your items to you as soon as possible.
